I My DELTA (Master’s equivalent in Teaching English) was extremely rewarding, and I learnt a lot about teaching, theories and practices. I’ve chosen to post my portfolio in case anyone finds research work interesting, or if there are any people out there wanting to know more about the kind of work covered on a DELTA course.
If you are thinking about doing the DELTA, I urge you to take a look at my Module 3 submission (the one where you design a course for a specific group of students). One thing I found was that the input I received for the module did not adequately prepare me for the scale of the module and what needs to be submitted. I would have been better prepared and less stressed had I been given the opportunity to read an example first.
